Exactly 1 month ago, EMPIRE, was projected at Teatro Castro (a cinema of such powerful causes, which struggles to remain as it is), in a session of delicious short films that discuss what we want for our futures, our bodies, our desires.

I wish to thank so much @projetoparadiso, for supporting me to represent the film in SanFran, CA, as well as Frameline47 for welcoming me, and my lovely Homestay hosts Shannon and Marina for welcoming me with such kindness and affection, Filmes de Infiltração and NEAR Protocol for supporting creative process of the film.
And I would also like to thank Aleksandra Swierk and my colleagues at Torino Film Lab, who instigated me to look at the prologue of "The Brazilwood Women" as a film per se, so, we have EMPIRE. ❤️

yes, one month from this arrival from Sao Paulo to San Francisco. Sampã to Sanfran.
And how many beautiful and unexpected encounters, how many joys, how many special people who entered my journey and that do not even fit in these photos, because some photos I did not have the timing to do and others I stole from friends posts :P.
But it's not about photos, it's about encounters.
And it is not possible to mention names, because there were many.... So here are some remnants of images that jumped out of my phone.
It was 3 very beautiful and unexpected weeks already here in the taste of "saudade".
